It is really a wonderful piece, with it’s original Japan paper label still attached. It is a five pointed, 3D molded cardboard star with lots of silver glitter. It has a curled wire piece for attaching to the tree. The piece was made in the late 1940’s, early 1950’s, and meant to last just a short time – but here it is, all these years later, in really excellent condition! The glitter is still bright – glitter is one of the hardest things to photograph. It really is much prettier in person than in my photos, which seem to suppress the glitter, and give glare to the spots where the glitter is slightly worn. It has some very slight pinches to the ends, but no creases or damage. The cardboard is in good shape – not crumbling or broken. It measures about 8 across, not including the looped wire. It is really a charmer, a won’t disappoint! Payments required within four days, please. If you are going to need longer, please contact me, so we can make arrangements.
