This is the quintessential pairing that defines a space-age Christmas. The Sapphire Regal 7ft Aluminum Christmas Tree Model 737 and the Colortone musical color wheel each come in their original boxes. With the top branch, the tree measures 7′ tall and 4′ in diameter at the widest point; technically, it could be made taller by swapping out one of the longer branches. The tree includes: 199 graduated branches, 1 two-piece trunk, 1 three-part “L-shaped” stand, and a one-sheet instruction paper (torn). Overall, the set is in good vintage condition. The vsilver metallic tape and the adhesive has dried out on some of the branches; the frills on several are not secured down and might slide when removing and/or returning the branches to the sleeves. A few of the branches do not have sleeves. There are 211 pre-drilled holes in the center pole but only 199 branches. The tree is very dense and with the branches spaced out it is really not noticeable (as shown, an entire row was skipped). The color wheel has a goldtone plastic housing. The knob on the back controls the lightbulb and motor. The wheel spins perfectly and the motor is very quiet (I have a video of the wheel functioning but I can’t figure out how to upload it). There is some very minor warping to the colored gels (pictured). The button on the front operates the music box which plays “Silent Night” – the motor for that is audible. The color wheel measures approximately 15″Hx11″Dx13W. The tree box measures approximately 36″Lx12″Wx10D. The color wheel box measures approximately 12.75″Hx14″Wx8D.
