Aluminum Sparkler 6-ft Christmas Tree. Made by Star Band, Inc. Portsmouth, VA – “Advertised in LIFE”. Model W6214 – a hard-to-find more full tree with 110 branches plus top branch (the more common Sparkler 6-ft model has only 91 branches). The center pole is pre-drilled for 123 branches so there is room to install additional branches. All aluminum branches are individually wrapped in original sleeves from Holiday Industries, Portsmouth, Virginia. They have been marked by size for ease of assembly and storage. 44 short (14 inches). 30 medium (16 inches). 28 large (18 inches). 1 Tree top 18-inch branch. The ends of three large branches and 1 extra-large branch are slightly bent but still usable. On some branches you can see small pieces of age-yellowed tape a previous owner used to re-secure foil fringe to the branches, and the wrapped fringe is loose on several branches but can be re-threaded onto the rods. Comes with two center wood poles that assemble together and tripod stand (missing the ring to secure the tripod legs together but a zip tie works fine as a substitute). Also included is the popular Evergleam Tri-Lite color wheel Revolving Tree Stand (4 color illumination). Model 4960 supports an 8-ft, 15-lb aluminum tree. Made by Aluminum Specialty Company, Manitowoc WI. Brushed aluminum drum is in great condition. The interior has that classic mid-century gold-on-white speckle. Makes some noise as it warms up and will start rotating once warm. 4 color lenses (red, blue, green, yellow) in good shape for over 6 decades of use, only a few scratches at the edges from the clips that hold them in place. Comes with the original box which (held together with various ages of packing tape, but it’s there). Sockets for 3 indoor spotlights (max 150W). Spotlight bulbs not included.
