This vintage artificial aluminum tree was manufactured by the United States Silver Co. They used Reynolds Aluminum for their trees. This tree is 6 1/2 feet tall and comes in its original box. Original instructions are included and still readable, although they show some wear and signs of age. The KING branch is present and clearly marked as well as all other branches. Assembly of this tree is ridiculously easy and fast, it took me about 10 minutes to assemble and about 15-20 minutes to disassemble. Please note that you should not put lights on aluminum trees, due to the metal tree acting like an electric conduit. They are beautiful with just ornaments and this is how they were decorated in the 1960s & 1970s when they were most popular. Some people also like to use a multi-colored or solid color spotlight or laser lights to shine onto the tree. This particular tree, as photos demonstrate, is very beautiful and one of the better and fuller vintage aluminum trees I’ve seen. The silver is pronounced even in darkened rooms. The last photo is of the tree in a darkened room without flash and then with flash (note the flash pic makes the tree look gold – but it is silver). Please also use all photos to determine condition.
