1992 Kirk Stieff Williamsburg Silver Tree Top Star. Many faceted treetop star by Kirk Stieff for Historic Williamsburg is a silver plated Christmas tree top ornament based on a compass rose, a directional guide and design element featured on many 18th-century maps and illustrations. Appropriately hallmarked on the back, this measures 8 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide, and has a tapered tube on the back for fitting on the tree top. This does not appear to have ever been used. It is still in plastic wrapping complete with original box and romance card. Plastic has been ripped on one side. Photos are files of previous listings. Any gold tones or spots you see are the result of poor photography. This is gleaming silver plate. As with all vintage silver, may require proper polishing upon receipt depending on your preferences.
