High domed textured silver-gilt mushroom pull off cover which opens to reveal a scene depicting an elf decorating a christmas tree and a flying fairy placing a star on top. On top of the ladder is a basket containing two baubles one of which is a tiger’s eye and the other a lace agate. The baubles used to decorate the tree are a mixture of onyx, chalcedony, tiger’s eye, carnelian and lace agate. The ruched stem sits fixed on a slate base. Both the mushroom cap and main sculpture are in excellent condition.
